I liked this article a lot. I like the amount of depth and work that went into writing this. Subjective nitpicks aside (I would probably do the costing just slightly differently, but like I said, that's subjective) I like the amount of detail here and the fact that it tries to integrate itself instead of existing in a vacuum. The mechanics sound well thought out, and though I have no idea how well play tested these home-brewed mechanics are, the reasoning is completely sound. I feel like I have something to learn from this writing style.
