CER: The Natural Encyclopedia: Ankou - Tommoraki, Outsider

Humbaba
The outsiders section of the bestiary is altogether 6 pages, and on top of that, it has a ton of flavor text so boiling some numbers down, and finishing the entire section shouldn't be awful.

Notes

Ankou and Epona have a template that gives them extremely high protective ratings, but without them, they are single digit characters. These monsters required a ton of cross referencing huge spell lists to measure CER, which is a little annoying, but meh. I think the Kelpie is actually a little more dangerous than the numbers indicate, and the Dryad is really meant to be a support than a straight fight as the flavor text indicates. Similarly, Brine Fury is pretty dangerous, but it doesn't actually have a good attack, just the ability to put the party in a coma easily, not that comas are nothing.

  1. You now have formal permission to put these up on the GURPS Repository.

    1. Hold for a bit. I want to make sure things are square with Jürgen. He's jittery about posting things from 3e books.

    2. That'd be quite some effort! Are the monsters already on GURPS Repository? I'd kinda like some official blessing from the original author, not that I doubt he would give it because he already released the data freely (I assume, as long as he is credited in name, he is fine then)

I also notice a few tiny mistakes here and there, but being off by +/-2 or 3 isn't all that bad when all I want is a kinda barometric reading to know at a glance, for example, "hey, there are about 20ish monsters here that *might* be close in power level to my players' party, now I don't need to look at all 600."

    3. I have it from the author. I'm just wanting to clear things with Jürgen.
