Sorcery: (Inspired by) Poison Mist

In-Game Art
Not feeling especially well today, so I thought I'd make a simple write up on a spell that uses a different type of mechanic than normal. Poison Mist, inspired by an ability from Dark Souls, lingers for a few seconds and has a chance of inflicting a toxic damage cyclical effect every second one stands in the range of the cloud. Let's see how that looks.

Unique pyromancy crafted by Eingyi, considered a heretic even at the Great Swamp. Create poison mist.
Eingyi became an egg-bearing Undead who serves a deformed young girl who speaks an unintelligible tongue
.
So, it is something like a cone, that starts from the player's face. It is selective because it doesn't harm the user. It is persistent because it exists for a long time, several seconds. It is cyclical because it constantly does damage when the affliction strikes. Let's see what that looks like.

Keywords: Area (Fixed), Obvious, Leveled, Resistible.
Full Cost: 24 points/level.
Casting Roll: None.
Range: 10 Yards.
Duration: Cloud remains for 10 seconds, the poisoned target is stricken 11 times over 100 seconds.
The caster breathes a 10 yard long, 5 yard wide cone of poisonous gas that lingers for about 10 seconds, if someone is caught in it, they roll against HT to resist. If they fail they take 1d toxic damage (ignores DR,) and every ten seconds they must attempt to resist or take 1d toxic damage again for the next 100 seconds. You can miraculously control the cloud to not inflict yourself or your allies.
Statistics: Innate Attack (tox) 1 (Sorcery -15%; Contact Agent, +150%; Increased 1/2d, 10x, +15%; Reduced Range, 1/10, -30%, Cone, 5 yards wide, +100%; Resistable, HT, -30%; Cyclic, Resistable, 10 cycles, 10 seconds, +250%; Persistent, +40%, Selective Area, +20%) [24]

Other Thoughts

To make Toxic Mist just either take the advantage at a higher level, or modify the resistibility to make it more difficult to resist. It seems a little expensive for how easy it is to brush it off, but for just 10 points more (per level,) you can make a version that once the target is inflicted, they are guaranteed to suffer each of the 11ds of damage.
