Nirvana?
This week, mostly, it looks like a lot of session recaps, annual retrospectives, and the like. Further Up The Spire did a post inspired the social contract questions I posted in November. Hmm, wonder if it felt useful? Mailanka talks about Patreon in his retrospective. Interesting thought. I don't have the creative muscle to even think of doing that, I'd rather annoy people with ads. Dungeon Fantastic and Generic Universal Eggplant are both interesting in general this week.

Pretty annoyed this week, oh well. Don't feel like airing laundry here. Sorry for the "ambiguous facebook status update," but that's it.
Oh, one interesting thing I noticed, people don't like my session recap posts. Are they boring? Uninformative? Poorly written? Just not your cup of tea?

ReplyDeleteRe: session reports. I sometimes enjoy them, but they're not as immediately useful as your enlightened reflexions on GURPS mechanics.

I rarely read session reports, but honestly can't fathom why someone not in the campaign would want to read mine, so I may not be your target audience there.
ReplyDeleteAs for the social contract thing, it was nice in that it helped me notice and reflect on things that I take for granted. The question on house rules also hinted at posts I should probably be writing in the future. I recommend the exercise.
