Well, I mentioned it last week, but today is the official world wide unveiling of Generic Universal Eggplant! Brand new blog, but it is full of awesome stuff already, tons of monsters, spells, and imbuements - the stuff I personally enjoy reading about! So, hooray for that.

The Thing That Came From The Foggy Bog Blog

So what cool stuff happen? I like this Pack Hound from A Literate Programmer's Blog. It's thoughtful and comes in three different power levels. Further up the Spire has a really cool Fright Check alternative, though it looks a bit difficult to internalize? Won't know without trying it! Rindis, always helpful at critiquing and helping with my power statting has a pretty neat list of spells over here. GURB3d6 has a d*ng well written writeup on a horror monster that is tuned to the Average Joe. Generic Universal Eggplant is just churning out solid gold. I wonder if the author has a huge backlog of already finished content maybe? Ravens N' Pennies has some neat Incantation magic. Worlds Beyond Earth has a neat abstract build-a-bear monster (with amusing illustrations) It feels like the monster equivalent to how I write "dungeons." Finally, Octopus carnival has two interesting monsters I'll probably need to look at in more detail.

Spooky Thoughts and Somber Self Reflection

Good traffic overall. My review of Horror is heads and shoulders more popular than the rest of my posts this week. The two guest posts are up there too, the Rag and Bone Man, and the streaming consciousness building of an alchemist. Also, my similar post for building a stuntman with healing powers.

Traffic has been pretty good. I think having a writing prompt helped to pull me a bit out of a rut, but I also had an unusual drive to write, so it wasn't so aggravating this week.

In real life, meh, nothing interesting happening. Almost November, so that means almost time for GURPS Discworld!
Oh, just remembered, there is a discord channel for GURPS now. I also hang out in an IRC channel too. If you like either, you might head over, and you'll see me there?
