Crab pokemon. Only ever needed one water type, so yeah.

I never used him because
I liked Abra more.

I always thought the association with tapirs and dreams was weird in Japan, but I found out it's just a weird coincidence and the "baku" just coincidentally looks a lot like a South American tapir. Weird.

You get me pretty late, and I don't
evolve... until the next game.

A snake made out of stone, but unusually light for its size. Always seemed pretty superfluous to me.

The Japanese name is "Ghost."

The only ghost types in the first generation. They could have been fairly powerful, but since they are all half poison, and the only real "attack" was pretty weak, they became kinda worthless.

Two headed bird. It is different than the onion bird. It is like a kiwi, but it is also like an ostrich.

A duck with a leek. Seemed kinda weird and pointless except that in the first games you had to trade to get him.
