City Stats, Boardroom and Curia: Tumador Colony and City Hall

These are the notes for a campaign that I am currently taking part in. The colony that my character is helping to manage, and the town hall he has to work with.

Social Engineering: How to Negotiate Long Term Relationships

You win, we flip a coin, I win, we play
guess the closest number.
The rules for negotiation are scattered all about the many books and not easily found all in one place, so what I will try to do today is make a reference to a bunch of sections of the book. Note, negotiation is, like all other social obstacles, a roleplaying experience, so the idea isn't to boil a complex game playing experience down to nothing but dice rolls, but to more easily put yourself into an objective space when role playing to understand whether or not the negotiation is a success. It is a tool, and not a surrogate for subjective judgement.

Boardroom and Curia: Temple of Demeter

Public domain art!
Now that I got a template all written up for organizations, I'm gonna put it to use. Next, I'm going to stat up a monastery in a supernatural TL5+2 setting. The monastery will be called the Temple of Demeter until I either think of a more interesting name, or longer, because I intend to have the focus of the temple be the harvest. Let's see how that goes.

Boardroom and Curia: Enchantment Factory

They didn't have colors back then,
that's why this is drawn in black and
white.
Working on more stats for a setting, so today, I'll stat out a generic factory for enchantment, with about 800 employees. Assuming this is a normal mana environment in a setting where magic is not unusual. Let's see what that might look like.

Mechanics: How to Build a Resistance Group

This is probably today's star
I have players that are interested in building a resistance group to fight against an evil empire. This requires a lot of skills and resources that adventurers in RPGs usually don't have in abundance. I think Boardroom and Curia and Social Engineering already have most of the rules and mechanics to facilitate a large amount of what they need, so I feel like this post will largely be referencing relevant sections of those two books, but at least this way I can put them in a sensible order and limit required reading to only a few sections instead of just throwing the PDFs at the group and saying, "figure it out, it's in there."

Boardroom and Curia: The Order of the Fly

I got frogs to the left of me,
felines to the right, and here I am.
Kinda trying to do something different, I decided to attempt to stat out an organization according to the rules laid out in Boardrooms and Curia. So, not having any especially good ideas, I turn to the Ars Goetia for inspiration, and decide to use some of its metrics to try and determine the attributes of Baal and his "66 legions." Let's see how that goes.
